MIG Capital invests to move the world forward. With the motto of “from Vision to value”, they have invested 657 million euros till now. They develop solutions, pave ways, and turn visions into successful businesses. Since 2004, they have successfully supported founders in deep tech and the life sciences. MIG Capital is the main investor in LXP Group.

KfW – Responsible banking, Germany
KfW is one of the world’s leading promotional banks. KfW has been committed to improving economic, social and environmental living conditions across the globe on behalf of the Federal Republic of Germany and the federal states since 1948. To do this, it provided funds totalling almost EUR 167 billion in 2022 alone. Of this amount, 33% was used for climate and environmental protection.

LXP Technology complements the vision of CropEnergies which enticed them to become shareholders in LXP Group.

Südzucker Group, Germany
Südzucker AG, based in Mannheim, is the parent company of the Südzucker Group and also the largest operating company. Südzucker Group's product portfolio includes sugar, speciality sugar products and glucose syrups, functional ingredients, frozen and chilled pizza, portion packs, ethanol, animal feed, starch as well as fruit preparations and fruit juice concentrates. Sugar is our core business. But, the Südzucker Group also engages in a wide range of other business activities. 

Kompetenzzentrum Holz GmbH, Austria
Kompetenzzentrum Holz (or Woodkplus) are a leading research organisation in the area wood and wood-related renewable resources in Europe. Their core competences are materials research and process technology along the complete value chain – from raw material to finished products. LXP Group is industrial partner in COMET programme at Woodkplus which is operated by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG).

Projects

RUBIO (2021-2024)
RUBIO is the "Regional Entrepreneurial Alliance for the Development of Value Chains for Technical Bioplastics in Central Germany". It brings together 18 partners located in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia as well as in the Berlin and Brandenburg regions. These include seven small and medium-sized enterprises, seven large companies and five research institutions. The aim of the RUBIO project is to explore the feasibility of producing pure, polymerisable succinic acid from biogenic residues. This Project is funded by Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF).

COOLBat (2021-2024)
Coolbat project focused on CO2-saving lightweight solutions on the next-generation battery housing demonstrator.  In order to bring together the individual developments and evaluate them in terms of resource efficiency and lightweight construction, the battery system of an electric vehicle is chosen as an application example and demonstrator. These battery systems represent a central innovation component of sustainable mobility and are crucial for the competitiveness of electrically. The research project »COOLBat« is funded by the Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz.

Industrielle Bio-Ökonomie (2022-2023)
In Q4 2022, LXP Group secured the funding from Industrielle bioökonomie funding program to do the preliminary study of 15kt Pilot plant in Genthin. With its Industrielle bioökonomie funding program, the Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz(BMWK) supports the transfer of bioeconomic products and processes into industrial practice.
